    Snaike:
    Faterson:
you said that the ultimate proof of Tiger's bad on-course conduct for you was his movement during Yang's final putt.
I did not say this was the ULTIMATE proff, it was the example that I could come up with and was top of mind as I was writing.

Now that's ridiculous...   You can hardly be successful in denying your own words, because they are available here (and on the previous page) for everyone to read:

    Snaike:
I didn't believe it at first... until I saw the winning putt that Yang made last month.

In other words: that thing (which never happened, as proved by Nivlac's marvelous photo analysis) was the last thing that convinced you that you were right. But since it didn't happen, you may as well be wrong!

I totally have to agree with Tibbets here.  That's the exact point I was trying to make except worded better.  lol

Also notice Tiger is far behind Yang and no shadow is in effect. By the time Tiger moves some ass is already yelling "Get In The Hole," I'm sure. It's a dull point, that's all there is to it.

I am just going to appreciate the fact that Tiger was around in my time, breaking records and setting standards. I am a witness to PGA history and what Tiger has accomplished and continues to accomplish is a great thing to behold. I wasn't around for Jack...I wasn't around for Hogan, But I was here when Tiger raised the bar of greatness.

I can't help but feel a lot of the negativity in this post is racially fueled. Denied by all, I'm sure, but none the less, ever present.

I agree he does act unsportsmanlike sometimes, maybe even often if his game is off. He gets frustrated, and when your the best and you screw up its far worse than an avg joe because they expect different things from themselves.

My major point was to his future in golf. I think hes got alot more, a whole lot more trophies and wins coming to him.

My proof to back up my first post was his score he posted yesterday and his lead going into today.

Also as to Mr watson's age, sorry for the typo, knew he was 59 just didnt proof read before I clicked post. Either way, 49 or 59 still old for any sport.

    Regarding movement during putts:

Have a look at this one from yesterday.   Fast forward to near the end with Tigers long-ish putt on 18.  Watch Mark Wilson move at the top of the screen.  Most definitely before Tiger stroked his putt.

Seems to me this kind of thing happens to a lot, so any idea that Tiger is trying to 'psych out' his competitors by moving as the putt is being stroked is pretty much nonsense.  Golfers do it all the time, and I have yet to hear one accuse the other of any gamesmanship.  If they aren't, why should we?

You know... I almost let this one get by me.

I truly can't believe that someone would pull the 'race card' on this.  How very, very sad.

Let me guess, mrboo...  It would be "racially fueled" to criticize the President on his socialist policies if we disagree with them?  But it was OK to criticize every President before him on policies we disagreed with?

It would also be "racially fueled" to criticize Serena Williams for her outburst at the USOpen?  But it was OK to criticize McEnroe for the same behaviour?

I guess it would be "racially fueled" to criticize Kanye West for his drunken outburst at the VMAs?  When that sort of behaviour just isn't tolerated by even the  "Hollywood" types in our society?  "“Kanye west is the biggest piece of sh*t on earth. Quote me.”- Pink"

If I may be so bold, mrboo, let me explain a thing or two for you.  I see Eldrick as a family man first (with a very beautiful wife and 2 kids), an entrepenuer second (he makes tons and tons of money), a philanthropist third (he gives away tons and tons of money), and a very very good golfer fourth.... somewhere way down the list I have to acknowledge that part of his heritage is African American.

By having his heritage top-of-mind enough for you to bring it up here, perhaps you, yourself, need to examine your own priorities in this life.  Not everything is "black and white".

    Peace

Oops I almost let this one slip by me, hey we have something in common snaike.

You said "I see Eldrick as a family man first" Don't you mean you see him as a steroid junky with a short fuse and bad sportsmanship?

Maybe you need to rethink your priorites bud.

To quote a line from that great American Philosopher, Maxwell Smart...

"Being bad is what they do, not who they are."

Duck and cover, mrboo... duck and cover.
