    Hello all.

I've been here for a while, but never introduced myself. I'm Ben from the central part of Maine. To my current knowledge I only know of Tamochin as the only other Mainer in here, but would be interested to find out if anybody else is. My only accomplishments have been making #7 from the hack tees, and sinking the putt for eagle. A low round of only 31, and recently (somehow) winning the thanksgiving tourny. I've been a member for a month now, and i'm excited about new courses, and meeting new people and what not.

    Go get 'em everybody!

Hi there. I'm Phil. Just want to say thank you for this great golf game. I'm addicted to it already and I hope there will be more courses in the future. That would be great! See you on the green ...

    Greetings from Berlin / Germany

Hello all.  Just wanted to say Hi. and I enjoy this great online game.  I noticed the controls take some getting used to.  Is there a way to spin the ball so it sticks to greens?  How about Fades and Draws?  Thanks!

Howdy! Boy, I tell you what! This is a VERY cool thing you've done here! I think it's great. I was thinking though... wouldn't be cool if there was a putting challenge? Let us get out on the putting green and hone our skills a bit? Any thought's on whether that's a good idea?

I have finally gottne my average down to under 70 but I don't see myself coming up on the boards. Any ideas about that? Also, How do I qualify for the next tier? When I play stroke play it shows Amateur on the top of the page and Hack by my name and in the overall rating it still says hack. Not really understanding it all. Can anyone enlighten me??

    Thanks,

    J. D.

Welcome to WGT, JDHaring! The homepage leaderboard only shows 10 players, so that might explain why you are not seeing yourself there. Also, it is not currently sorted correctly but we are fixing that very soon. You must play Ranked stroke play rounds or Stroke Play tournament rounds to change your tier. Our calculation takes your ten best out of your most recent fourteen scores and applies a weighted index to determine your tier.
