Hi g3org3, Ice007, Fuzzygazz, and GOBUCKEYES!

To answer your question, buckeyes, for now tournaments are all set up by us at WGT. Allowing players to set up their own tournaments is something we may do in the future.

Just an "Hi!" here by way of introduction.  I'm gonna be a pest with 'bugs'.  LOL.

Overall I like the game very much!

Hi Buckeyes, to depsit credits in your account to enter paid tournaments, click on My Account in the upper left corner next to your Username, and go to the Deposit tab. $1 = 100 credits, so it's $20 to enter the Jerry Lewis Stroke Play tournament and $10 to enter the Sweeps. Good luck!

    PaulV here. Well met.

The game is really great so far... HUGE potential. I've played a lot of electronic golf, and this presents a REAL challenge. You can't "get" this game in half an hour. Like golf, it's not that natural or intuitive (a good thing, really!), so I find I have to train myself to play. Nice.

And props all around to the development team... Flash, huh? Who'd'a thunk?

Looking forward to moving forward. Incidentally, how does one make friends? I haven't noticed any befriending functionality.

Thanks again. I stumbled upon this sight (With StumbleUpon, actually!), and find it to be a daily highlight.

    Pax,

    PV

    Hi Paul,

    Welcome to WGT :)

Currently, the way you add friends is by going to a player's profile page and clicking "ADD AS FRIEND". Here is a previous post for more details: http://www.wgt.com/forums/p/123/413.aspx#413

We are working on additional ways to connect including the option to email people in your address book during registration.

I did notice that, but when I go to the list of WGT Players, I only get the folks who signed up with a -, _, or numeral at the beginning of their user ids. There are only 5 pages of players. And I am not among them. I was just wondering if there was an issue with the complete list, or if I'm missing something.

The list is currently sorted alphabetically, which you noticed is not very helpful. We're working to sort it in a more meaningful way, so that it's easier for you to find other players to challenge. For now, you can use the search box to search for specific players, or you can type in partial strings to find a list of players. For example, if you type in "br", you'll see the first 250 player names that start with those letters.

Aha! So, the lookup gives you 250 names. Got it.

Thanks so much for getting back to me, Alex. I am really behind this project, and will be with you peeps all the way.

    Pax!
