Need New Clubs

  Been away from the game for almost a year. Here is my current equipment. Any advice as to what I need to upgrade and what you would recommend? I am level 63 and my avg score is 73.

  Taylor R1 TP 9.0 Driver L48+_

  Taylor R11 3 Wood L30+

  wgt irons

  Gorge 54 and 60 wedges L18+

  ATV 64 Wedge L39+

  Daytona Putter L55+

  Thanks for any ideas.

  You're a L63 Tour Pro, and you need irons obviously.

  The L59 Ping G25s are a good choice - the first with a high trajectory (important!). If you want to spend it, take the whole G25 set (L59) and resell the Hybrid.

  Next would be two wedges complementing the ATV (replacing the Hybrid), maybe with priority to the G25 set.

  The Daytona putter is a good one - keep it!

  Solarflares:

  quit the r1 and get a g25

  The G25's are a great set, and the significant factor is they are high trajectory,

  However I tend to agree with Solarflares, the driver, the R1 is longer, more forgiving but slightly faster than the G25.and I would probably keep it in the bag.

  Some players like to have a constant meter speed across all clubs however.

  The G25's (with or without the driver) can take you all the way to legend, but with better wedges than what you have in the bag currently.
