Have been stuck On 64.52 (TM) for some time. even though I am getting Birdies it still remains almost static.

    I know I have a couple of rounds 1 at 68 and 67 I think.]

    Any advice welcome

50 rounds at TM and you've reached saturation. You have to bring your average down to 61 to advance to Legend. At an average of 64.52, a 64 (or  a 32 on 9 holes, will not bring your average down...and anything higher like a 67 or 68 will be discarded and will not increase your average).

You have to start shooting 30's (60) and 29's (58) to lower your average down to the 61 needed.

Took a glancing look at your scores, and nothing stood out as an issue between your average and your scoring.

If really wanted to test it you need to start listing your scores and keep your own average, but just glancing I see nothing to raise an eyebrow.  Think I basically just agreed with Don.

Your score relative to par is what counts, and you're talking about your Stroke Average. Whatever Level you might be at is completely unrelated.

At a 64.52 stroke average you have to have a 9 hole score of  1/2 that, 32, or less. And an 18 hole score of  64 or less.

Of course, Par 3 and Par 5 courses don't count towards your stroke average because they have abnormal par.

Maybe I'm reading something wrong but if all you say (average stuck at 64.52 and you reached saturation a long time ago) is correct then something is wrong.

A saturated average means your worst score included is replaced with the score you get if that one is better, the worst score you have included has to be at least 65.

I think saturation TM is 50 rounds, this would mean an average of 64.52 was from 3,226 shots.

I looked back to the 7th June;  you have a 30 (60), a couple of 31's and four 32's (62+64) since then, these should have seen a saturated average fall.

That's at least 15 strokes knocked off meaning your average then included 3,241 strokes and should have been at least (possibly more if you had some 33/66's etc included) 64.82.

So I'd reckon something is wrong or you've just not noticed the slight fall and, as I've done much the same before, I'd reckon the latter.

If you really want it to fall play par 34 9's, three under there gets the same score (and therefore drop) as -5 where the par is 36.  Really though, if you're struggling to get your average down do you really want to make things harder?  Although I suppose cc tees maybe make this less of an issue than it could/should be.
