That is absolutely incredible...i am trying desperately to upload this d%^&%$^#%^#@% video. My reenconding attempts using 2 different softwares, failed. So, i thought to upload the entire video to youtube. After an hour and a half (2.7 GB of video) i get ''there was an error on processing the video, please try a supported format file''.

It's an AVI file you damn idiots which is FULLY supported on YOUR list!!!!

I would never have imagined such a pain in the a$$ to upload a video just because i recorded in avi format for having aero enabled....it's so damn crazy.

If some guy has an idea, please send me a p.m.

So sorry for the off topic...

You have 2 posts this 1 and on page 5 about Xsplit.

Xsplit known as sh**split free version is horrible and the payed version is not much of an improvement.

My recommendations on free software to use would be OBS/ Open Broadcast Software you can record MP4 files and steam. A quick video of the quality below full 1080p widescreen

    To your above question.

Yes AVI is supported by YouTube but many people have issues with uploading this file type are you getting an error called (doesn’t recognize AVI video)

AVI is a container format. The video and audio streams stored in different AVI files may be encoded in different ways. However, YouTube just only recognizes the specific way that the audio and video streams of AVI files are encoded in. So, if your AVI files can’t be accepted by YouTube, it may probably be the video & audio codec problem. What’s more, AVI is usually too bigger than 10 minutes, it won’t be loaded.

Quick fix for this is you`ll need to change the AVI into MP4 it is very easy to do google search video converter. Or this link:

    https://www.wondershare.com/pro/video-converter-ultimate.html

    http://www.onlinevideoconverter.com/video-converter

If these don`t work try the google search. Yes feel your frustration when it comes to waiting X amount of time waiting for a video to upload and an issue comes up.

Side note: When i search and watch WGT videos on YouTube you have those large black sections right-hand and left-hand side of the video to me it doesn`t look good. Sony Vages Pro, Camtasia Studio 8 allows you to drag and widen the video so all you see is the game itself. Both editing software are around $300 to $400 mark BUT!!! if you don`t want to pay you can quite easy get the full version for free on youtube search (full versions free) and follow the steps.

In primis, thank you very much my friend for your input!! Really appreciated!

Yes, i know most of the stuff you mentioned (i am quite familiar with video). The problem lies probably to video codec and not to container as these morons on youtube let you think. As i stated before, you can't change simply the container (MP4 is also one), you have to reencode the whole video file. I tried already twice with no luck. So, i decided to let the video running in full screen with MPC and recording it using open broadcaster software directly in mp4 format. That should do the trick...i hope.

(the quality will be awful though)

Thank you for being kind, Gary.  Although if you mean I was consistently poor I guess you are being truthful.

Nice to get a chance to play some new people. And to try to figure out this streaming stuff.

Here's a direct link to our match if anybody wants to see it.  Just be warned it ain't pretty. LOL

    JoeMaverick:

I win 2&1. Here the stream: https://www.twitch.tv/wgtjoemaverick/v/80308838 (Start at 3 minutes).

Yiannis played much better than me on the front 9 with a great birdie on #5. The stream costed me a big ding missed on #8 which finished on a par. On the back 9 the meter was perfectly smooth, and moreover my putting was hot (#13 and #15).

Thank you Yiannis for the game.

    Joe
