For those of you that have the TV in the same room as your computer then it's time we can play along again.    There can be magic moments when you have the same shot as the pro on TV.    You might find yourself thinking " will he hit it the exact same way?"    Also, there are many camera angles strikingly similar to our own WGT pictures.   A bonus comes when you make a great shot and the sound of the crowd roaring  (for some other guy on TV)   well...  it seems their clapping for you.

US Open Championship       June 16-19      Oakmont Country Club

    Next week:

Quicken Loans National       June 23-26      Congressional Country Club

Some tv companies ( the BBC do it here for THE Open) allow you to follow a group of players through 18 holes using the interactive button. This makes it possible for you to play along with your favourites hole by hole. Great fun.

Unfortunately, not any more Paul. The BBC are no longer covering The Open live. Only recorded highlights. From this year SKY will be the only place to watch it live.

Good news is.....    Search USGA/USOpen.   You'll find they have their own live video.    Plus, when you click on their video link, it takes you to the TV links.    One more worth checking is The Golf Channel.   I can't say which is the best until I see them all.

Probably drop the velcro balls and switch to worse irons and scores might well get more similar!

S Garcia (2nd pl -2)  made a spectacular putt at Oakmont.   9th hole, RF pin     And I mean an "Oh Wow"            This replay is a similar shot.

Still time to catch a lot of the action in round 4 of the US Open.

BTW...   Mr WiGiT,   How come these pros' are driving a 3 iron 244 yrds and mine will only go 233 yrds off the tee?
