I know, credits spent while still low level......

but which do you like more? meter seems better on Pings.

I am level 32 but could wait a few days for pings if they are that much better

    Plus, long term value?

well, I rented the R11 Irons in exchange for my current Rocket Ballz L10 and honestly I can't say that I was that more impressed.

Of course I am still learning and using starter balls but I do the same with my Rockets so I thought it was a fair comparison.

Maybe they did bite a bit more, but not sure it would be worth the 2000 credits.

I would recommend the R11's, all around better sticks than the Ping's offerings at thal level, BUT with you're sights clearly set on the level 59 Ping's at level 59. I rode the 59's all the way to l83 and almost legend .

I would recommend trying a few before buying and would like to add that the higher loft clubs are better for stopping power and the better a set of clubs you purchase, you wont need high end balls thus saving money in the long run.

thanks Stevie, based on my rental use of the R11's recently, I am just not sure they are worth the credits right now over my Rocket Ballz.

maybe I should just play these until level 59 and then get the pings.

John, you will find that you will move through the levels relatively fast so waiting is often a better choice. In the mean time spend some time with practice rounds concentrating on short game and putting. Being able to replay shots and putts while using the starter balls will really benefit your game. You will eventually find that a good set of wedges will really help more than the irons or fairway woods.

This is an absolute fact of life. A decent player could play a round with starter woods, irons and putter and eat it up if carrying 3 great wedges.
