My desktop keeps hinting me to install this, I have auto update off so it does not mess with me when I'm playing. Has anyone done this yet? Any glitches as far as playing here to be concerned with? (other than our hundred everyday ones). Thanks for any insight.

    Happy Hitting

    TP

I think the update Hints your talking about are for Window 10,  So if you do not want it, or anything to do with it, heres what you can do.

Remove the windows updates that they say are 'Recommended".  These are as follows:

    KB3065987

    KB3035583

    KB2952664

After removal, make sure they are on your update list, then hide them.

I have no intention of changing from Windows 7 !! Why would I ...... it works just fine. I run Windows 7 64 bit and it is just about trouble free. I would envisage bugs and other stuff appearing in Windows 10 as it did in Windows 8. So I will stay where I am.

Unless a user identifies a need / benefit why bother?

MS made the huge mistake that the world was ready to be forced touch screen mobile with windows 8.  retrenched with 8.1 and hands up white flag with 10..........

If 10 works for spme people great, and if it does not good luck with the Indian call centre

You won't regret it Gary. Windows 7 users will be in heaven. Best thing MS has ever done. Even seems to speed up old PC's.
