  "Having left the club some 20 months ago, and not having played since, Michael was good enough to welcome me back this week.

  I left because of health and family commitments, now more under control.

  The choice of club to rejoin was easy, I'd invariably had great interaction with club members, a much different experience than with some of the individuals in the general populace of WGT....   .....Glad to be able to play with decent people again."

  "Everyone has been welcoming and encouraging which a huge deal for a newbie coming in  with a high handicap....

  This club offers a varied schedule of tournaments including some that are geared toward high handicappers - that is great encouragement for a guy just joining in.  I especially enjoyed the match play format where it made me schedule a match with another club member or two. 

  FPGC does a great job of "encouraging" us to keep active and play our share of tournaments, so if someone is looking for a club to join just to be in a club, they could find a million of them out there, but if they want to be part of a vibrant and active club with a real (global) community, then FPGC is the place to be!"
