I stumbled upon this by mistake. After your Tee Shot you can read the green/fairway if you are close enough. This can be done on any shot after tee. Here's how.

Right click on the hole. From here you can zoom in as close as you want to the hole. Click on the "blue triangle" this will show "grid". From here you can move it around the green or the fairway before the green to get the direction. The grid as you'll find out will only work to view a certain distance from the hole. When you're all set, right click and zoom out/view all.

FORGOT TO ADD THIS EARLIER: Click on "Chip" shot to view grid. Sorry

Hope this helps. Any questions, let me know.

P.S. How many already knew this??

You can use Chip, Pitch, or Flop shot mode, even from the tee box to see the grid on the green.

Many of use use the movable grid as a shot aiming aid for both break in the green and wind.

We can also use that movable grid once we are on the green too, and close enough to the hole.

Again by choosing Chip, Pitch, or Flop shot mode. Moving the grid so the ball and the hole in the same grid column usually gives the most accurate look at the break in the green.
