  game loading adverts are killing me. there's a time's newspaper one atm which plays sound in the background when i reload and the 1st shot i play the meter is impossible to play.

  anyone else?

  Try Comodo Dragon.It has a built in extension called priv dog that blocks most ads and blocks tracing cookies as well.

  It's the adverts on the iPad app that are infuriating. I quickly kill the app without watching the ad and then load it again. Eventually the ad goes away.

   

  But otherwise....GRRrrrrrrr...annoying.

  My antivirus has an anti-banner feature which does a good job of blocking adverts.
  
  Maybe other antivirus programs have something similar, so it might be worth checking to see if you have an app/program already installed that could do that job.
