    Because you will want to ace the par 3 11th at St. Andrew's one day, that's why. Notice how fast the ball is rolling as it heads towards the hole.  Ain't no way it goes down with the flag in!

    Right?  Right!

    ~Cheers~

    Agreed, although I would do it whether you have that hunch or not.  :-)

    So, in conclusion, pull the pin.  :-)

    Sometimes during a blitz, just a fmagnets said once, I might leave the pin in (as you get some nice points for hitting it) and that's a point to discuss...

    ...but here, it's interesting because the ball hits the stick solid but perhaps 'bounced back' and didn't change course but stopped on the side of the cup.

    Too bad I forgot to un-mute the 2nd round that I recorded on Twitch because I like to hear it.

    As demon says, 'either it goes in or it don't'

    Such a compelling question ~ "to pull, or not to pull"  Because I didn't pull, I have 655 "hit the flagstick", along with Diamond "Flag Stick Master" awards at Kiawah & St. Andrews, along with "hits" that ricocheted OB, or into water or into 3-jiggle territory. So, I have been pulling it as of late, 50 yards in, and have yet to hole anything by using this arrogant notion... "to pull, or not to pull"  That is the question  ;-}

    I guess there is a time where keeping the pin in might have a better result, but how could you know? For example this 2nd shot likely would have rolled over, or would it?  - heck, I've had short shots with a tad too much power roll directly over the hole a few times - but this one cracks into the stick, but doesn't drop for Double Eagle, but I was glad just for the Eagle from a few inches.

     2nd shot BPB 13 hit flagstick par 5
