Why is it that I have say a 20 foot putt and most time I see a 25 foot put meter, but every once in a while I get not the 50 foot but the 100 or 150 foot meter.  If I don't notice it I putt it 75 feet instead.  The last time this happened I put it in the water and it cost me two strokes.

You might be on the fringe and not on the green . some times when on the fringe your caddie will hand you a putter .

Sometimes when the distance is close to the max distance of that putter, like 20 ft being real close to the putter of 25 ft, the system will give you the higher distance.  It has happened to me a few times when not looking.

Also, if you use a Rossa  or any putter with 15ft as 1st increment, check your meter  every time !
