Insight onDriver and 3 wood

  Hi all just wondering if anyone has some insight the Callaway x2 hot 3 wood level 73 is the med/high trajectory  good for sticking greens? I like the 240 yrds would be much needed and the Taylormade Sldr 9.0 driver level 79, I want to trade my old reliable clubs in,  my Taylormade R1 driver level 48 and Taylormade R11 3 wood level 30.....   MAHALO...... or should I wait a couple more levels im at level 79..

  A much Cheaper 3W for now would be the L81 G25 (745c) only 2 levels away (also 240 yards), and I'd also perhaps wait until Legend for a new Driver, and get one at L88 or higher if that takes a while. L48 R1 can go 300+ in decent tailwind with FTS or 2+ distance ball.

   

  Higher trajectory means it stops better (though on one post, it did say said 3w stops well on the green). And I used R1 until L95, when I switched to the L91 Max Meter 9D. Right now at L96 BBA.

  Thank you that was a concern the trajectory of the x2hot I also had my eye on the Ping G25 3 wood same distance but low forgiveness,  ball flight vs forgiveness hmmmm? and 7 yard difference in drivers is not that much maybe I should wait until the next free rental weekend, hopefully im at level 81 or higher so I can try them both thank you again for the tips........ I will try a ball with distance too...

  IMO, the X2 3W is FAR superior to the Ping in both distance and precision.. also plenty of stopping power with a good ball. 

  I bought the Ping first.. hated it. Tried the X2 on a free rental w/e and bought it straight away.

  I also have the L79 SLDR and LOVE it.. 

  IMO, You don't need another driver until you get to Legend. I used your R1 until I got there.

  Thanks ISH47 for your input on the 3 woods and driver glad 2 see both clubs are working great for you, checked your page out (ROCK ON!).....
