    KenBTEXAS:
wishing I had a clue how to begin writing a script....I don't..that leaves Scott :-)

I wasn't suggesting that you learn how to write your own Ken, hehe. If you Google tampermonkey scripts you'll find out where to find some, what sites they were written for and what they can do for you.

I'm fairly sure you won't find any for WGT though, as there's not much you can do here apart from play golf and chat.  : )

Thanks Don, but it was a complete fluke that I found them. I accidently hit the shift and / instead of the > key, it was then that the cheatsheet appeared on my screen. Now, if only there was a shortcut for making £10 notes appear, lol.  ; )

Was it not a mistake that North America was discovered?

    LOL

No Don, NA was here all the time. It's just that the barbarians (our Anglo-Saxon ancestors) hadn't found it yet.  ;-)

I've added a new feature to the 'Play-one-hole' app of mine (there's a link on my profile page), and that is two new views of each hole.

    1. Aerial view
    2. Surface map

These are below the tee shot picture.

If you click on either one, BOTH will open to fill your browser width with the surface map being superimposed on top of the aerial image.

Depending on which image you clicked, the surface map will be either fully transparent or fully opaque. The transparency can be adjusted by the slider in the bottom left corner.

The colour key denotes all the different surfaces on the surface map, and it can be dragged over the map to match up the colour swatches with the colours on the map. Releasing your mouse button will 'let go' of the colour key allowing it to return to its original position.

The colour key can be hidden by checking the 'Hide Colour Key' checkbox. (The text activates the checkbox too so you have a fairly big target area for that).

The surface map gives an accurate indication of where the out of bounds and lost ball areas are for each hole

I think all of the surface maps have a colour key as part of the image. But as the size of this varies, and in some cases it's barely readable, I thought it a good idea to add my own.

Clicking on either the surface map or aerial picture when in full screen mode, will take you back to the hole selection page.

And don't forget the F11 key (fullscreen) for getting the most out of your screen.

    Thank you.  ; )

P.S. This may not work in old browsers and IE.
