Big Deal. Nothing to celebrate. Nothing to buy. Drivers? I have the Bertha; and the L98 R-1 and the L100 Covert are months away and not even tempting in anyway. At all. Fairway woods? I have the Bertha. No where to go. Irons? I have Max L94; and the L97 Nike VR, with a 3.0 swing meter is not even a consideration. Wedges? I have the Max; and contrary to the Cleveland and ATV lovers, the Max is, frankly, the best of the trio. Putters? Ah yes. Putters. Nothing to purchase. What I want is a putter with 5.5 precision ~ 3.5 forgiveness ~ 5,0 balance ~ 5.0 meter ~ and increments of 7.5' - 15' - 30' - 45' - 60' - 120', etc. Style, brand, moniker, color, shaft, grip... I don't care. Price? I don't care.

The 96Versa trumps that Ghost you're toting and the scales are 15, 30, 60, 100,150 and 300. .5 more in precision and balance with the same meter. I swore by the Ghost until I tried the Versa  and it fixed the 8-12 footers with superior results on the longer putts.  ;-)

Well Jim, of course you are correct on that. I have, since day one, been very weak as a putter...my stats prove it. My ways with putting are so ingrained, changing would be impossible. I am incapable of enjoying it, refuse to become a "fiddle-faddle" brain scientist with it, and I like just one look and roll. I will never hit TL because of it, and if I did, my reward would be only faster greens that require, or rather, insist upon my becoming a slothful, calculating, fussy bore...which is impossible. I really liked the L70 Versa, tried the 96 Versa, liked it, went to the Ghost (you tell me why) and truly don't love any of them. I want Love.

LOL. Is there any other way? Well, maybe 2 looks.  After all, the longer you stare at it, the bigger it breaks.  ;-)

I bought the L96 Versa ... it has its good days and its bad days.  Fortunately I kept the L70 Versa.  I swap them around depending on how many times in a practice game the L96 will lip-out.

I'm not "in love" with either.  IRL I love my old Rossa Spider putter ... wouldn't change it for the world ... but IRL I tend to spend a lot of time reading a putt and have grown extremely used to the feel of the Rossa.  Here I'm just a calculating fool! lol.

Well, you are wrong about the fool part, Kat. L0L ~ Let me tell ya what a fool is ~ just now, Merion 18, Champ greens, bracket game ~ Little Miss Pie, with 86% frwys, 78% GIR, and a smooth 43 putts = 81. Best score of my 2014 ~ Like I said my way is "dope".
