    Hi everyone!

I went for a surf at Muizenberg this morning because it's such a beautiful day and the waves there are nice and small so it's not scary. Ok there are sharks but only a few people have been chomped by great white sharks in the last few years.

Anyway, I was paddling out to go try catch another wave and this dork who was on the wave coming towards me fell off and his board went like straight up in the air like a rocket, came down and hit me and

    broke my collarbone.

    Hahaha!

At least there can't be much left to break now. Big hug.

Maybe this is an indication that you have too much time on your hands. ;-)

They say bad things come in three's. Hopefully that won't the case for you.

Which collarbone? The same side as your hand or the other side?

Not wishing you any more bad luck , or anything , but would it be ok if  I took out a couple of insurance policies  on you ? You may want to stay out of the water . Yesterday off the coast of Australia , a 16ft. 1 and a1/2 ton female great white was caught and tagged . They implanted a tracking monitor in it , and then released it back into the ocean . Thats a lot of fish to have in your swimming pool . :-)

well ummm I already broke my ankle, leg and arm, so this is the fourth one!

It's my right collarbone. Weird thing is it didn't really hurt that much at first. I just suddenly couldn't lift my arm but when I tried THEN it hurt!!! And then my cousin who was with me sort of went white and pointed at my shoulder and there was a funny lump there.

And yah I do have a lot of free time at the moment cos I don't have classes every day.

That might not go away, either. I broke my right collarbone in a baseball game and just like you, didn't know it was broken until I tried to lift my arm to throw the ball. I was in a figure 8 contraption at first, trying to get the bone back straight (greenstick fracture) but it never made it. That bump is still there. :-(
