I long accept the fact that I muck up more shots than I can account for, but there is something bothering me and thats the enormous increase of shots that are not suppose to happen.
Its a skill to exactly calculate what you need, in what direction to play, which club to take and how hard to hit the ball. Above that you should finally click at the right moment to get the effect, the outcome you want.
But if I do everything more or less right end ding the ball, I expect it does what I wanted it to do, but more and more it simply doesn't.
Just now I hit a full 145 shot with a tailwind of 11 mph on a tournament green where balls roll on beyond the horizon, and it came up barely 140
I hit a ball 175 full backspin with 6 mph tailwind, needing 197 and got 209
If I cant rely on the game doing what its supposed to do, whats the need in practicing or skill playing, because its becoming more and more just a lucky chance. Or is that what they call a sense of realtiy, because in real golf there is also an uncertainty if you attempts do what you want?
