My buddy and i have been playing for two years.  Both at Pro level (now Tour Pro).  Both have been given level 20??  The driver i bought recently that he wanted to buy cannot now be bought until level 53??

Isn't going to happen.  WGT you need to rethink the buying equipment as you aren't going to be seeing much money from us again.

I think levels will come faster than people think.  I'm already almost level 31, and I haven't really even played that much today.... moderate amount, but nothing crazy.  Hopefully leveling up doesn't get much harder once you get into the higher levels.

they do seem a little low to me judging by the level required to buy equipment similar to what was available on a tier basis

one thing for sure.. they do NOT seem to represent what players have actually done on the site or in the game

I have to agree.  My friend bought a driver when he hit Master Level and I just hit master level and cannot buy the driver he has till I'm at Level 87.  I'm at level 31 now and it will be forever till I get to 87.  My buddy is at the same level I am now and has a huge advantage with that driver (25-30 yards)  I have a Pro driver that now isn't available till level 57, but still on many of the Master tournament set ups I have a hard time reaching par 4's hitting Driver and the best 3 wood I could buy when i was a pro.  255 yard driver and a 230 yard wood should easily get you onto any par 4.

I want to spend some of the credits I've earned or bought, but can't find a set up that is better than mine right now that they will let me buy at my level.  That was a ridiculous change in my mind.  I understand that your best players have bought everything they want, but I would think they could invent something else for them to buy.

This whole change is BS.  I'm "Master" level, but can't buy better clubs.  And now teeing off from much further away.  Scam.

Have to agree, couldn't buy Masters clubs as a Pro Tier, now at Master level and still can't purchase longer distance driver even though I have to tee off from Blue tees. Not that fun so far...................

all of u nailed it - with your sub-par driver. i want so bad to rip into this whole system [no pun intended] but i am gonna take yankeejim's advice and be patient. i missed gettin the clubs i wanted by 1 day, but my frustration goes way beyond that. and i have only been a member for a month! i can imagine your frustration as a long-time player. it's awful. i am SO frustrated with the playstation-style 4-putting - it's absolutley @#$%!!! PLEASE let the tiers buy tier clubs and PLEASE let us choose green speeds. i just wanna have fun and make a birdie now and then, and maybe an eagle every few rounds. i bought a $500 computer, got 10k in credits from offers, and spent another 20 bucks in my own money [plus offers, like netflix @9/mo, safettweb @10/mo, etc], and continue to at > $1per sleeve. PLEASE change things WGT... it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that we are not happy. make it fun for 1/2 of us - make it crazy for the ones who are crazy-good - ya know? i just wanna be happy...

I so agree, How can I get any farther with this new system when I can't even play any of the stroke games I played a week ago?? I am a tour Pro, was able to play every stroke match avail when they came along monday morning, I even looked forward to it. Now I click on a 18 hole match and it tells me I do not qualify to play? wtf is that?

Can someone message me and tell me if I am doing something wrong here?

Next thing I know I will not be able to play a ctth game cause I don't qualify, U can't ride this ride unless your how tall?

I did not buy any new drivers or clubs when they were on sale, I thought I was fine, Guess I should have wasted some money and bought all the best, because from what I read now I am going to be teeing off from way back and a 255 yard drive is gonna be crap.

    Someone enlighten me please!!

The levels issue is definitely imperfect but I notice a few changes in the shop today for those with equipment issues.

I'm lucky in that I have the clubs I want to use already so the only slight gripe I have is that there is no new equipment and brands available.

To those that suggest WGT is about scamming money, that is rather unfair.  After all, if they wanted to make it a genuine money driven game, then they could add game improvements for every little factor - such as differing levels of shoes, gloves, tees etc.

That may come in the future of course to add a more strategic element of play but overall I think the user gets an excellent free game for which only a few pounds/dollars of your money may prove useful (but certainly not imperative).

I was fortunate enough to be a Master and have all the clubs I ever needed.. There are some improvements that needed to change..

WGT  in it's infinite wisdom always seems to fix something that wasn't broke to begin with.. Granted the new level system is unfair..

There are people now at Master tier without the ability to buy the equipment to compete. WGT will lose alot of members by this oversight.

The tees and green speeds should be left to the players choice--except in tournaments. That would be so simple for them to fix.

A Pro would have to LIVE on this site for weeks to advance his tier and buy the equipment needed..

When they see their gross intake of money begin to fall--they'll fix it I'm sure.. But will it be in time to save the ones who are threatning to quit?
