When you've a putt that for e.g is 20 ft and 5ft uphill, thats 25!

If the rule of thumb is add/subtract a foot per inch, would not that be 80 ft? 20 ft + (5 x 12)= 80 ft.

All of my putts are side hill.  How do I figure how far to go uphill/downhill?

E.g. means "for example," so how do I read "for e.g."? Just curious.

    Congratulations bubba!

This sounds about right for tourny speed greens

Keep it simple....  20ft putt... 5 uphill is 25ft

Uphill putts hit a little harder

Downhill putts hit a little less (sometimes alot less, the more downhill it is)

I have found that champ. greens divide the distance by 1.4 then + or - the up or down.

    tourney 1.3

    V F 1.2

    fast 1.1

with putts of 30 ft. + needs a bit of tweaking.
