Wow ! What an honor it is to finally be excepted as one of the WGT crew. It took me numerous rounds, multiple invites, and plenty of patience. But I finally did it guys! Yeah!!!!! I played with the legend Juan. I was so nervous. I could barley type clear Spanish but managed a como estad, bien gracias. Hoping this would be the beginning of a bonding friendship. We started together on the 10th tee, and off we went. Two exceptional tee shots were made, and soon followed by two more more then satisfactory approach shots. Wow! I was so excited i could hardly focus. Then soon after two respectful putting strokes were put on the ball, Par was made. Whoosh, We made it. Then off to the 11th tee, my hands still shaking. Once on the green, Juan's birdie putt found the bottom of the hole. Pressure! Now it was my turn. I put a very good stroke on the ball and what to my surprise.. The ball entered the hole softly on the right front and gently exited out the left  front to about 5 inches.... Oh my I said to my self, ( Not knowing the Spanish translation for these words ). Wow a par. And more importantly, Juan is now leading at -1 to my Even par. Hey I thought. He's winning, so maybe he will continue this display of solid golf. Now the pressure was eased as I stood at the 12th tee. Again two very good tee shots were placed in the middle of the fairway. Followed by approach shots that found the green in decent range for birdie. Neither of which was successful, but none the less. Now we are both looking at modest par putts to finish and move on. Then,,, what? 4 seconds on the clock and oh he's  oh ok he is putting. Wooah. OK. Oh No! its lips out and POOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Juan's Gone! What a great time it was tho. Didn't last long, but hey the chance to play with him was like my Master Card and Butch Harmon's phone number. PRICE-LESS! I survived almost 3 holes with Juan. How many can you?

Capt. That has to be the funniest post yet!! I just am sorry I missed it. Also, I'll have you know. I did make it to three once, but after his tee shot he was POOF, as you called it, gone! After all, he is the greatest from his country, the blog says so.

    tee hee

One time I got invited to watch our subject hit a single tee shot on #1 into the bunker, then he was gone like virginity on prom night.  Wooosh indeed.  Thanks for inviting me to watch you pound it into the sand.

I must admit, losing to that guy once was my biggest disappointment in my WGT experience.   I've been seriously considering accepting one of his invites just to lay down the law and get revenge, but I know it wouldn't last since running away is what he does after a bad shot or two.

Capt, That was the hilarious! I'm sure every1 who has played him has a similar experience.  I think you should try to reenact this experience for the video blogger contest. You would win hands down!!!!!!!!

Captain I'd like to congratulate you on an awesome piece of story telling ! with a bit of extra work maybe you can turn this in to a script for a thriller movies (with a twisted ending !). So nice to see some fresh humour to this forum section instead of the usual wingings or critisms of this great game.  i hope everyone will follow your lead and post more funny stories or just simply sharing an experience they've had while playing.

Thanks Captain for a great laugh ! lmao !
