    MBaggese:
Nice to see a one hole review, but might lend more credence is a Qual score was posted.

guess that's what I deserve for trying to offer some advice
to a fellow player in this ever loving hornets nest.

I made that hole replay after reading this thread.
I saved all 3 shots because I can't capture video,
and this was stupid ole me trying to offer some help (lesson learned).

I wasn't trying to prove anything to anyone,
nor to "show off" like that other guy.
just tried to share what works (WHEN it works),

    "just sayin"...

    You're right,

    I apologize.

I was a bit testy after a few putts in the Legend Merion tourney and took it out on you.

    Again...sorry.

Hi, I'm that other guy.  That shot was one-in-a-million, posted with a smiley as if to say, "Don't count on this happening very often."

fwiw, I appreciated your breakdown of a useful way to approach a very difficult hole.

    Sincerely,

    Mr. Showoff

nothing wrong with showing off. I do it, we all do it.
it was a brilliant shot, and I enjoyed watching it,
the point I was trying to make is that I was posting the replays
to try and help in my own little way.
rushed through 4 pared holes, just to get to 5
and offer a visual suggestion of how to play the hole,
so to get a response like that, as if I need to shoot a 54 on the qualifier
to be "worthy" of offering my 2 cents to another player,
might suggest that it was just for show.

sorry I dragged you into it in order to make my point.
it was careless of me and unfair to you.
I didn't mean it in a bad way or anything.

gmaster, no harm done and all's well.  Again, am much appreciative of the walk-through you provided.

By the way, if #5 is bad under normal conditions, it's an absolute beast with uneven lies. Since the whole fairway slopes right to left, I don't see how it's even possible to hold the green.

Well my top tip is dont look for tips in a thread that's almost four years old.
