So much lag its untrue

    Ive been a member here for a while now and my problem (only the 1 i may add),is the constant lag i endure on a daily basis.
    Im not sure if its my server or wgt or whatever,. Im not too compuer savvy,but do realise the problem may lie with myself .I just wish to know if there are similar members out there having the same problem and how do i rectify it .
    plz help ,many  a good round spoilt by this .Kindest regards ,.

    hi

    Some lag could be coming from internet but it should clear itself on a regular basis. if it doesn't, then it's likely something on your computer. Unfortunately, it will be very hard to diagnose as it can be dozens of things.

    I would recommend closing everything when you play, especially those pesky services that run in background.

    I'd check your internet speeds, then try a different browser.

    Also check your browser settings to see if it is set to clear cache and cookies on closing. If it is it could also clear your flash cache. Anytime you clear your flash cache it removes all the course files and they have to be loaded when you play which could make it run slower and be laggy. Also check your game setting and see if background loading is set to on. Set to on it pre-loads files and makes it run faster.

    Appreciate your swift responses ,,,i tried the background setting and changed it as u so kindly stated..It seems to of worked so ,far ,,fingers crossed.

    Try a little program called gameboost , helps a little but maybe just enough

    would i find game setting on WGT home page?  I am having some of the same issues & believe this would remedy it as well :)

    Game settings are in the game client's menu.

    Local Flash settings are available on right click in this and other Flash areas.
