Well, after making it past hole #3, I find that hole #4 plays a LOT longer than the yardage. It showed 167, I had the wind at my back, hit a 6(?) iron gauged at 160 and came up about 73 feet short. This has happened multiple times.

You're in the rough on #4, that's why you're coming up short.
So I guess this hole is actually playing as it should now. Thanks for the response. Still trying to sort it out, though.
