Has it been removed from the starter wedges?
I've had shots from 50-70 yards that would normally stick previous to today's update (w/max backspin) that now roll like they were fairway woods (2nd and 3rd hole approaches, with wind at back).
Kinda noticed that myself. I just think the greens run way faster... Kinda hoped the new irons had more spin control. Haven't bought them for that reason..

I believe it has to do with the more realistic green speeds. The fact that we had backspin at all on beginner clubs was a bit unrealistic anyway. At any rate, we can see the room for inprovement with future club sets.
The spin on the wedges isn't bad.
Do you recommend the new wedges ?

I got tired of seeing my LW/SW shots roll away from their target. It's not a drastic improvement, but it's noticable and useful.
