This is a long shot as I know how busy you all are (hopefully getting the update sorted!), but is there any chance you could do something with the green grids to make them a tad easier for colour-blind people like me to read?

Thought it was worth asking, and wondering if any other similarly afflicted people have thought of a way round it.

Keep up the good work guys,

    Sean

If you start at your ball position and drag the aim arrow slowly along the line of your putt, you'll see the elevation in the info box change as you go over bumps or swales.

That's about the only trick I can think of.  Hope it helps.

Thanks for your prompt response Nivlac - knew you wouldn't let me down.

I didn't even know there were different colours until a guy I was playing recently mentioned it.

    Thanks for the tip.

    Hi bluescouse,

In addition to the color-coding, there are also dots that move faster or slower in the direction of the slopes, depending on the degree of slope. Do these help you?

     Yes they do Alex, thanks.

It's just that somebody mentioned how the different coloured lines are also helpful, but as I can't see them, I don't really know how.

    Thanks for your response though,

    Sean

Ok, here's an idea.  You guys already have the little grid dots to show the break changes but, they are always oriented east to west or west to east.  Perhaps a button could be added to the game that would allow us to select, at will,  the orientation of the dots. Default would be east/west.  Click it again to change it North/South so we can see the dots rushing towards us or moving away.  Click it again and it returns to the east/west orientation.  That would help folks like blues (or those who just don't get the color grid at all) see the uphill/downhill a lot better.

    Does that make any sense?

*edit*  Just please don't put them ALL on the screen at once!  omg lag :(

    Does to me Nivlac.

    Might I await developments Alex?

Funnily enough I don't even pay attention to the colors on the green.  I don't seem to be having a problem with the putting :)

Seriously though, the aim bar gives you all of the relevant information about distance and elevation changes.  By moving it around, you can get an accurate idea of where the contours are.
