When I pitch or chip out of rough, I aim for hitting the bottom of the golf ball and it gets it out of the rough really good.

If you are hitting out of a bunker onto the green, I usually flop shot with either a loft or sand wedge.

You know, I have not tried any of the other chipping/pitching methods other than the standard. I think I'll spend the next month fooling around with missing the green and practicing chips. I like the roll I get on most chips, but there are definitely times where I want the ball to stop - mainly on BB.

JDubs21 can you explain the stopping the swing on the perfect shot line again. I have tried doing what you suggested on 07-18-2009 but it is not working for me. Do you have any screen shots or something?

I am relativiy new to this game. It seems that when ever I am on the edge of an elivated green and I try to make a pitch shot my power will be at 16 but my ball will only go 2 feet. This is a wasted shot. What do I need to do to prevent this from happening? Any advice is very welcomed!!!

I'm more confused now than when I started on how to use any iron; even my full power shots are inaccurate. And buying the Tour Starter clubs didn't help; still have a crappy game but now with good-looking clubs.

Snaike, those programs aren't cheat programs. All they do is close down unnecessary services and programs that run in the background of your computer, thereby freeing up memory to be used for the game.

DoubleMocha,

I'll try to take it on a bit for ya...lol! The only suggestion i have for u about " the little dingy line"...lmao is when u make ur swing and move ur swing arrow icon up to lift ur swing... bring the arrow back down just to the right of the "perfect-shot" line- it gives u a much larger target area to aim for when ur stopping ur meter on the line. I have done this from day 1 and I rarely miss my meter- all my bad shots come from bad reads ......not missing

P.S.- if the meter is "choppy" or skippin, let it "buffer" 1 or 2 times by not clicking swing...ur avatar will do a practice swing- this almost always(95%) helps.....a must-do b4 a "must-have" shot!!!!!

U can also try using a program-stopper like game booster or end it all to help enhance play!

Hope any of this helps u and any other WGT member that might be havin trouble strokin' it cleanly!!!!!

u cannot chip from green, that explains why it doesn't go. u only chip from fringe and rough:)
