Purely an attention-seeking post by Text My PC.  Complains of being bored and reaching great scores in only a month or so, then when folks offer real advice he starts busting on their scores.  Meh.

I am never bored, but can reach a level of burn-out as I have now. I believe in fighting fire, hard, with bigger fire. And that is what I am doing now by entering as many RGs as is possible while my play is junk. A little dough on the side should allow me to focus better as I play my way through the downside of the silly slump I currently enjoy. But bored? When the game goes into the crapper I wouldn't call it a bore, just a pain in the backside.

Good thought process SP.  I can't play the Ready Go's wish I could for the very reasons that you talked about.

For a change of pace, grab some friends and play practice rounds from the ladies tees .  It give the game a whole new look and it's always fun to beat up these courses with ridiculously low scores.

In the process of doing all of this, I've bored myself.

    Any suggestions?

Don't take this the wrong way.  This is not a flame, but an honest opinion.

Turn off the computer and do something else.  Read a book, take a walk, catch a movie, etc... (or if you live in decent weather, go play real golf.)

Getting bored on a video game is a bit obsessive.  If you find yourself thinking that playing is more of a 'chore' than a 'hobby', you may need an intervention.  I am sure that you could find many, many other things to do with your time.

    Peace.

You could try out the ladders (use the search over there ----->) or someone put me on to golfseekers.co.uk today... haven't really checked it out yet, but I'll probably have a look.  And then there's also the IRC channel (again search over there----->)  there are a whole bunch of great people on there!  Or you could even try to organize your own tournament or league....  just some thoughts...

Golfseekers is a great site for a change of pace in play. Different comps to pick from and play every week,(St. Patricks comp this wkd) for example. Very well run site and many great people to play with. Always a lot of fun(even if your score doesn't reflect that)...lol. No cost to check it out. Hope this helps someone.
