I have become rather disappointed in all the players in here that quit over and over when their game isn't going well just to keep their scores low. No wonder most of the players rated below 70 still shoot like there still at amateur status. Wimps !

I understand your frustration, keeping a friends list full of people who you've played with before sure helps and there's always communities like the Ladders.

Sadly, there's so many quitters threads lately I'm almost pro quitter at this point.  Maybe they're just a misunderstood group of individuals.  A "don't hate the player, hate the game" type.   Maybe quitting is FUNdamental.  Maybe it is more fun to jam out with your clam out.  Maybe I just need to taste the rainbow of freshness.   As Randy Savage said, maybe i should just step into it.

Maybe its all just a tangled web of a false virtual persona that my avatar won't be able to handle over time.  He might crack, become a dumpster fire, and lose half his corporate sponsors, only to mount a comeback at Bay Hill in what will amount to record TV ratings for that tournament.

Is there anything you can do with all the guys who quit after one or two bad holes. It ruins the round for the other players. It's worse if there is only myself & the quitter. It happens from the hackers to the masters especially the masters.

    Anyone agree with me?

This was posted a few day's ago. It seems like a good fit for this thread.

Yes, reputation tracking is among the planned new features.

In the meantime, you can join the Ladders site where quitting isn't tolerated.

The almost 1000 Ladder site members sure do! That site's best feature is that it allows you to avoid quitters.

well I decided to drift over and read through the forum as a relative newbie to the community and found myself drawn to this thread. I guess I don't get why people would be concerned with folks abandoning games when they are blown off the maps score wise and want to start over and try to do better on the next go round. I guess I have fallen somewhere in between on this one, allot of games I play through come hell or high water for the experience, I'm there to practice and learn from my mistakes. However if I am down to the last day of a tournament and I'm trying to submit a good score before the buzzer, I'll jump out of an obviously failed game and start over again. I have sat too many times and watched my replays where the ball was on direct course for the cup on a put and then mysteriously circles around the cup and lays on the opposite side, I figure at that time that the software has the upper hand and has put me in a position where I don't feel a bit bad about quiting and trying to deal myself a fair hand. My thoughts on the matter anyways.
