Here's a great bit of fluff for the tin-foil hat wearing crowd...

What TIger should have said. after all the bookies and oddsmakers gave his 'public address' the 5-2 odds of telling us he will be playing in the Masters,  is this:

"I am sorry that I won't be playing in the Master's this year.  Billy Payne has asked me not to come to Augusta."

How do you think that would go over... knowing that Augusta National, known for years for doing things it's own way - screw the consequences... has finally found a way to keep Eldrick off it's course??!!

    Hmmmmmmm.....

But of course he didn't say that. He will be there. As for Billy Boy Payne and the rest of Augusta National, the last thing they would want would be another media fiasco re-run of the last one...the one with that crazy female butch wanting a membership because they had no female members...this would be different, but if Tiger chooses to play, and he will, that will be that

Tiger should just say, "What I did was to my wife and family, the rest of the world should just understand that I owe no apoligies to anyone other then my family." Did Coby go through this ? Did Bill Clinton ? People tend to make the famous pay more then the general public. He doesn't owe me or you or anyone an " I'm sorry" He owes it to his family and that is all. So get over it people, It's like a drug dealer who goes to prison, did he hurt you ? Or the ones around them ? As well as themselves.

I read the USGA article about Tiger Woods and his infamous "loose impediment" during the 1999 Phoenix Open and Rules Official Orlando Pope cheated for Woods. "The boulder was the size of a large steamer trunk and estimated to weigh nearly a ton" - that's 1 ton -------In the United Kingdom, the ton is a unit of measure which, when it ceased to be legal for trade in 1985, was defined in British legislation as being a weight or mass equal to 2240 avoirdupois pounds [about 1016 kilograms (kg)]. In the United States and Canada however a ton is defined to be 2000 pounds [about 907 kg]. Consequently, one has to be specific when using the term and also to ensure that it is not confused with the metric tonne [1000 kg]. While they do vary, a ton is generally one of the heaviest units of weight or mass referred to in colloquial speech. ------ That one (1) ton boulder was placed there to be there and part of the course design. (In fact, Decision 23-1/3 derives from an incident that took place a half-century ago in England, in an alternate-shot tournament. The loose impediment was a felled tree, which a player alone could not move.) On the other hand a felled tree was not part of the golf course setup and therefore should have been removed either before play or as an impediment during play. It was not part of the golf course design. It could have been the result of a storm.

    What Tiger should have said?

The first thing that came to my mind was the line in Blazing Saddles...

I don't know what to make of this.

     http://www.chicagonow.com/blogs/ndigo-my-minds-eye/2009/12/i-tried-to-stay-off.html

    Tiger's Penis' Lack of Swagger

I tried to stay off the "Tiger" subject. I tried to refrain from jumping on the "Tiger media frenzy." I tried, I tried, ... I TRIED. But, the last thing I read about Tiger, a blog titled "Black Women Are Shocked That Tiger Woods has a Penis!," just "pisses me off." Pun intended.

The writer of the blog, who happens to be my colleague, was trying to be cute, clever and funny with her title. But, in her attempt at humor, she has done what so many women have done in the past. Publicly emasculated one of their own. She also explained that the bashing wasn't about race, but quickly joked, "clearly Tiger would never date Keisha or Shanequa." If its not about race ... don't bring it up. And clearly, the only women my colleague knows that aren't white are named Keisha or Shanequa.

Ultimately, she attributes Tiger's lack of penis to his lack of swagger. How dare anyone say some "sh-t" like this. And some women wonder why Tiger is not with a sister. The fact is Tiger doesn't have to explain "sh-t" to anyone. Except his wife, and maybe Nike. We watch Tiger to see him champion our cause in a sport (golf) traditionally dominated by white men. His dominance of golf gives people of color another example of what we can accomplish with hard work, perseverance and blessing.

Tiger's decision on how he navigates the golf world has to be a careful one. He is not the first golfer of color, but he is currently the greatest golfer of color. The tone he sets, will either make it easier or harder for future golfer's of color to follow. This might explain Tiger being a little too "vanilla" (plain, not white) or his lack of swagger to some women. Excuse him if he has bigger things to worry about than someone else's perception of his swagger.

The truth is, some women (I said some, not most, not all), don't know what they want in a man. They think they do, but they don't. Some say they want a strong "man's man." But, they will complain he is too insensitive and domineering. Some say they want the shy, sensitive type who will listen and truly understand them. But, they will complain he is too soft, and not manly enough for them. Women, if you truly want a man with swagger and a penis, stop cutting his off with your mouth. Anyway, half the women (I said half, not most, not all), would never even think about Tiger's swagger, or lack there of. They'd be too busy spending Tiger's money, and increasing the perception of their own swagger.

So, let Tiger play golf. Let his wife deal with how she decides to play her role. And get off his swagger!

Tiger obviously sucks at golf and dealing with family. Besides golf sucks. the only thing that matters in sports is ncaa football and basketball.
