    I have played a few rounds with others who chip the ball when they are lying in the fringe. Will people stop doing this beacuse it is messing up the greens. This must be especially true on the 12th hole at Kiawah, as every time i hit the front of the green, the ball bounces off in all directions. I can can only credit this with people in previous rounds hacking away at the green and not putting the divots  back.

    Please golfers have some respect for the green!

    It aint the chippers. The friggin groundhogs are waging a nuclear war. Haven't you noticed how all the divots look like tiny mushroom clouds?    :-D

    We could do without the divots.  It's the least realistic aspect of this game.  Along with the full follow-throughs on chips and short pitches.
