OK gang, this one is actually pretty nice. WGT should use this to promote Andy's.  But what was even cooler is that I proceeded to knock that shot in for Eagle to win the hole.

I'm not tech savvy enough to know how to do a screen shot, but if you take a look at my saved replay, I sure got an odd one.

I land on fairway over a break in the course, it touches down, bounces almost directly backwards, back over the break and rolls about 60 yards in the opposite direction...wacky.

    Hi Iva,

Check out this thread for instructions on how to post screenshots and scorecards.

    Iva,

The shot tracer doesn't make it look this way, but it appears that he shot hit the wall of the creek bed and deflected backwards.

    Hope this helps,

Actually, if you pick the auto camera  she makes it over , bounces back over the creek.

      Definitely weird shot.

That's why I said the shot tracer didn't reflect what actually happened. I'm thinking the behavior shows it hitting the wall and coming back, and the graphics glitch makes it incorrectly appear to have crossed.

When you watch the shot tracer, it just seems to carry the exact amount after it SHOULD have disappeared under the ground-level-horizon-at-the-creek, to where it would have hit and come back out.

hard to say, hopefully WGT can go back and see it and check the programming.

That is correct, the ball hit the very bottom of the bulkhead and popped up.  You can see this from the best angle on view #3.  View #2 isn't showing the depth properly and is giving the appearance that the ball crossed.  I'm not sure there's anything we can do to fix that as the ball trail is displayed through the ground so it can be seen behind hills and such (much like the grid in some cases).

That explains it, no glitch at all, and intended programming. The only option I can think of is to maybe change the color of the shot tracer to gray or something other than the default color, when it is 'hidden' or behind any obstacles. This would at least indicate to the user that it is a hidden view, and alleviate these questions. I don't see this come up often myself, so I'd guess it's not even worth pursuing?!
