There should be bracket options that are available to your Tier only if you look. Also, if you entered an open division (tierless) Bracket you can't really be upset that a Legend also did the same thing?
As to the the starter clubs, congrats on reaching TP with them, but good luck being competitive in open WGT events going forward. Once you reach Master and move back another set of tees and slightly higher winds you'll start finding it difficult to reach some greens in regulation and even reaching certain fairways.
