I believe the download called "plugin for Windows" should do the trick.

The one called "activeX for Windows" is for IE.

I would make sure that your graphics card is able to handle the new flash.  I know that my graphics card is not updated enough to use the new Flash Player 10.1 Beta.  This is stated by NVIDIA on there website.

I'm glad I checked in the forum or I wouldn't had a clue about the upgrade. Thanks for spreading the word.My meter is running just a little smoother with the 10.1 upgrade.

I have a 6800GT which also isn't technically supported by the newest driver update geared for Flash 10.1B, but I believe that support is for a certain type of video decoding.   One can still install the updated Flash player, but it just won't have that added functionality/improvement provided by the driver upgrade.

I played a few rounds with the update last night and didn't really see much of a difference in terms of swing meter consistency.   CPU loads were down a bit, maybe around 10% or so, which was a plus.

Swing meter consistency seemed better when I turned off hardware acceleration in Flash (which is somewhat counter-intuitive), but I only played a few rounds with that setting off, so it could just be coincidence or luck.   Could also be a driver issue/interaction with the Flash 10.1B.

Flash 10.1 Beta 2 was released on 12/17.  Still no support for my GPU though :(

Hey niv, do you know if it is possible to download/use the "Memory Monitoring Component" intended for the Beta, with the normal (non-Professional) version I'm running?

Just wondering... thought it would be cool to be able to see the total amount of memory used by the application Flash is running in.

I don't have a clue to be honest.  marioh or tibbets would probably know.

Flash updated itself yesterday, and all was well until I tired to play WGT. Freezing in between holes, lag etc. So, I cleared my flash (at least, I THINK I did), and now everything is set to default, which is annoying! (Although I think it is working now)

You're referring to the Beta, I presume?

It says my version is still currently the latest version...???
