The present showdown has 6 par-3's. Two groups of three holes have 2 par 3's. The organizers need to plan this better. No group of three holes should have more than 1 par 3, if any at all.
Most championship courses will have about 4 par threes, 3 par fives and 11 par fours. Why not replicate that kind of format for a showdown?
