  no.

  there is an option in mobile to play with a friend. either 3 or 9 holes. Apparel works in those. so does the putt preview. because it's a practice round.

  the only regular tourney that apparel is allowed in has been clashes.

  I have downloaded the early access version although I haven't really played with it.  But what you wear affects scores???

  Even putting that complexity into WGT means more things they can break on updates down the road.

  As has been stated NUMEROUS times previously, you have the option of not using apparel. Apparel is designed for coin games, clashes, and turf wars. All of these are mobile-only features. Don’t like it? Stick to Flash. Oh wait, Flash will be gone next year, so either adapt or go play TGC 2019. 
  
  PS: it has become very annoying to see in a post: a Flash player complains about PCEA/Mobile, and they inevitably threw in the phrase: “...what makes WGT/Flash great...”. Give it up guys, WGT will NEVER change Unity gameplay to resemble Flash, and no amount of brown-nosing will change this. It’s over. I repeat: IT’S OVER.

  Well said Fobs,just an aside apparel also works in showdowns(which are coin room tournaments?).

  It’s not a new product. WGT just ported the mobile engine, which has been around since 2016, over to PC.
