  I like the Showdown Format. But, it’s disappointing to see the Cut Line of -2 with two players at the line, and 8 others, including myself missing the cut. Let’s get back to Top 50 and Ties like real golf. I know there is some tie breaker formula involved really built into the game engine. I really don’t care about that. Maybe the game engine cannot handle it but personally, I would just like to see a more transparent and what I would consider a more fair and enjoyable system, TOP 50 (whatever) and Ties which would NOT shutout those 8 players.   Hi,

  For ties during the Showdown events, 

  The tie-breakers are as follows:

   

  1. Number of Showdown holes completed

  2. Score of Final Showdown game

  3. Score of Second-to-last Showdown game

  4. Score of Third-to-last Showdown game

  5. Number of Double Eagles scored in Showdown

  6. Number of Eagles scored in Showdown

  7. Number of Birdies scored in Showdown

  8. First to complete Showdown round

   

  I hope this helps clear up any confusion you may have had.

  It's not even the top 50 anyway. 

  It's the top 50%.

  And in Expert group that is always less than 50. Sometimes you might need to be in the top 30 or so.
