Uh, I don't think it is so much an error but understanding how the game, the greens, and the lie is provided.
Fmagnets has done a couple videos on putting that address grid lines, but also how the elevation is presented. You might look those up, but there are also slopes /contours on greens that would easily explain this as well, especially when you take into account the info shared by Mags.
