Let me start off by saying that I played a gentleman of the sport today...Walt was a tough competitor and a better person. I enjoyed the match and kept my nerves at bay knowing I was playing a 56 avg. Champion.
Walt was generous to give me 2 strokes with bogeys on 8 & 10 and this was enough for my 1 stroke win.
I was able to get my putter going on the front and built a 3 stroke lead at the turn. Walt's heated up on the B9 with a strong eagle on 11.
I did my best to hold off his late charge and went into the 18th with a 2 stroke lead and played smart to hold on for the win.
Walt did his best on the approach at 18 and almost pulled out a tying eagle.
And we both stayed at least 6 feet away from each other to prevent the spread of any Covid 19 amongst each other. This did take away from the fan base as no one attended. LMFAO>
