Just recently my meter has gone hog wild. Very difficult selecting an exact distance. When dragging the pointer to the left it will just stop on its own and I can't avoid a mishit or just plain dribble. What do you suggest to get it fixed?

Maybe your mouse is cream crackered, or has a flat battery if wireless.

Uh-huh, using a wireless mouse and/or keyboard is not a wise choice for gaming IMO. Especially in a game like this where timing (dinging) is crucial.

I disagree. All I use is a wireless mouse, albeit this is the only game I play. Action games may be different but this isn't a mouse intensive game, as such.

Generally, if I see the odd behavior the OP does it's usually attributable to a weak battery, a dusty laser or a worn button.

I think this covers the typical issues described.

My wireless mouse started acting weird last night, letting off while the button was still pressed, double-clicking, etc.  I changed battery - same problems so decided the internals were worn out.  Got out another wireless mouse from my stash, new batteries, problem solved.

(BTW - all my mice are fairly inexpensive since they work until they just wear out.  Probably played the one I ditched last night for a couple of years)

OK, I installed a new battery and it did not help at all. Meter is still very unreliable and jerky. I think some have blamed this on a recent update. Believe it or not I have been unable to find where the current update is located. Directions, please.

There is no update to find, it's not like a Windows update you can roll back. The files you need to play are sent to you by WGT every time you start.

Look like your mouse advice is right on. Seems to be working fine with another mouse, looks like a trip to Best Buy or Amazon.  Thanks for the input.    Frank

What browser do you use? Have you tried a different browser?

Chrome went bonkers on me a few days ago, now I use Maxthon.
