    Hello everyone,

Welcome to the 2019 edition of the WGT Ryder Cup. As last year’s event was a relative success and many people asked for a renewal of the format, we’ll deviate from the real world Ryder Cup schedule and have a tournament again this year.

There will be some changes from last year. I will be joined by f1dget and carlosdev who will not only help me with organising this event and decide on tricky questions regarding the rules, but will also put up a generous 100.000 credits prize pool along with ujjbnjk and myself. Those credits will be used for community giveaways in the live streams, a prize pool for all participants and a special prize for the tournament’s best player.

The UEL format will be spread out over the four rounds. Instead of one round exclusively assigned to UEL, we’ll have a small number of matchups played in all four rounds. While maintaining the same number of UEL rounds (10) everyone who doesn’t enjoy this feature won’t have to bother playing it this year.

The most important change is the introduction of an open qualifier after some criticism that not everyone had the chance to participate in last year’s event.

    OVERVIEW SCHEDULE

    30. Sept.

Deadline yearly earnings list: Top 8 make the team

    7. - 27. Oct.

Open Qualifier: Top 3 make the teams

    28. - 31. Oct.

Captain’s picks for the remaining 4 spots on each team

    4. Nov. - 8. Dec.

    WGT Ryder Cup

    PRIZES:

    Winning team: 50.000 credits

    Losing team: 15.000 credits

    Most Valuable Player: 5.000 credits

Plus 30.000 credits giveaways to WGT users in live streams

I hope everyone has a good time, keep in mind that the fun should be the priority in these events! If you have any questions or remarks, write me a PM or put them here.
