  I joined WGT in July 2018, when Oakmont is long gone. Imagine my surprise today when a new CC is announced: The return of Oakmont! A very welcomed addition (return?) to WGT’s rota. Here’s to hoping the course remains forever a feature of WGT.

     Thank you WGT for bringing back Oakmont. What a great course. I have always enjoyed it, especially the back 9.

  The Titleists weren't around when Oakmont was, not to mention the new bazooka off the tee. Should be interesting to see what that changes this time around.  :-)

  Question:Is Oakmont only going to be available for the duration of the WGT-tournament that starts on the 1st of September that`s played there, or is it back permanently?

  The way I understood the original reason for Oakmont leaving was that it was contractual-something to do with Oakmont's permissions to use it. Basiclly, WGT had no say in it. Now that it's back I'm suspecting that contractual situation was resolved in some fashion and it's here to stay. Hope that's the case.  :-)
