We all do!
The only way I got any better was to practice and make notes of what works and what does not. I still work on it and keep practicing and adjusting based on results.
There are a number of threads in the forum regarding methods for accounting for wind and for putting. It make take several minutes to search the forums for such threads, and then more time to read and digest the information, but that is a place to start.
