If they want to get to Level 20, which does have a couple of benefits, they need to receive proper credit for all of the XPs their members are earning for their club.

They have 99,134,079xp for L20 they need 286,650,000xp. Lets say they took 2 years to get the points they have (some of it with the glitch) then in almost another four years they may be getting close to these massive benifits :-/
Generally, using any opportunity to voice the opinion that credits would be better spent on equipment than on buying CC passes seems perfectly valid to me.
The question about if he used CC passes was relevant to the original post (in it being a possible, though unlikely considering who was asking it, explanation) and remains the only comment that was :-))
