  Why can't the view when a player is putting be consistently directly behind the golfer?  There are times you can't see the break on the green because the player is in the way and the reverse view doesn't give you the same look.

  It is because they could not or did not take a photograph fitting to that situation.

  Sometimes it's due to green elevation (STA, KIA), sometimes due to lakes (CCC), sometimes due to human imperfection.
