It's a dramatic difference, especially in terms of putters and golf balls. It makes no sense to be returning to the starter equipment; it's just the initial lack of familiarity with that advanced equipment for you at this point.

Agreed, it takes about 5 to 10 rounds to get used to the new clubs. All of your flight and stopping distances are different.

The transition is especially drastic if you upgrade to fast-meter advanced clubs. If you, instead, make a careful upgrade by going through the slow-meter Rapture clubs first, you'll notice their immense benefit right away, and going back to starter clubs won't be an option.

To late for that but it is not a problem for now...I guess every once in awhile I get that Tiger blood running through my veins and think I should be better than I am.I'll just practice a little more with the new clubs and quit being in such a hurry...I'm just used to those console games that are mastered in a couple of weeks..I been playing WGT for a couple of weeks and it seems like I started yesterday..Just as in life I need to learn to have a little more patience. At least I'm enjoying the ride.

i am getting a little frustrated with wgt it is to hard to play a decent round i just got accepted into the closed beta for tw online and will probably pay to play that that bc it has better courses better graphics and it is much easier to advance as well as better interaction  with other players and even though the graphics are better it runs faster

Better graphics ??!! You gotta be kidding me. We have just concluded in another thread that TWO is cartoon golf, enabling anyone to achieve fabulous scores next to effortlessly (it's apparently as easy to score albatrosses there as it is to sneeze or drink a cup of tea). So, yes, if you prefer that, TWO is definitely the choice for you. I for one very much prefer the challenge of playing a sub-par round.

PS: After trying TWO on 2 different computers, I still haven't been able to complete a single round. It's not that it runs "faster", but it just doesn't run at all for me, for the current & the previous Beta cycle. I should be able to try TWO with a different computer soon.

Yes, Elis, WGT is harder... it's supposed to be that way.  That's what makes it fun.

There is a large number of us here who are also playing the TWO closed beta 4.. there are posts all over these forums on that game compared to this.. (I'll let you follow Faterson's link or find them on your own).  Some of the people here just give their key away and let others play... it's really not that big of a deal.

To answer your points, TWO has MORE courses, not better... WGT has the best graphics (HD photograph vs. standard cartoon drawings)... And it is NOT easier to interact with others.. Multiplayer rounds are to this day, a hit and miss proposition there and everyday occurances here.

Again, as the only thing Faterson and I have agreed upon in the better part of a year.. TWO's graphics are far inferior to WGT's.

Having said all that, you really can't compare the two games.  As i have stated elsewhwere, TWO is a golf game for people who like to play games...  WGT is a golf game for people who like to play golf.  Neither is better than the other, it simply depends on who is playing and what they want to play.
