Could it be that WGT removed the Videos (mobile version)?

There are 100’s of people who use nothing but the starter clubs and balls and just play to have fun. Not a cent spent.
    True!

OTOH, it is quite cheap fun for a tenner per week, unless you get hooked too much.

Over here, real golf costs a lot more!

It costs me $75.00 to play most weekends. This is Cheap Entertainment

    +1.

In Germany, add a mandatory golf club membership - from 75 € per month up. This, OTOH, gives you free access to their course if you can secure a slot on a given day.

    DoctorLarry:

    2.  You can get very good balls for less than 750.  Try the Cally L33s or L35s, if you have not yet.

If the Callies at 250cr/sleeve still seem too much, I recommend the wgt GI3-S balls. Slows the meter and gives some spin ability, but only 99cr per sleeve (33 cents per ball). And if you want a longer drive to work from, invest a modest 250 cr to get this one after you play enough rounds to get to Pro level --- which doesn't take much really to do. For a one-time cost of 250cr, that driver will get you increased distance forever, without investing 250 cr every time you need to buy a new sleeve of Callies.

For the first two years in this game, I used the WGT SD Balls at .65 cents a pack.

Cally L-33 is the best value in the Pro Shop for Golf Balls

Agree 100%.  I used the GI3-S balls all the way to Legend level and beyond, so that I could save my credits for club upgrades.  Like I always tell people... 1 survey = 1 sleeve.

I also think the word you were looking for is " vulnerable ", but "venerable" in this context is much more funny, so all good.

    Doc :)

A much needed belly laugh there lol
