  Keep in mind that your average is based on your final score, not your score relative to par for that course. Also, remember this is an average of your scores, usually a few hundred scores. If you have an average score of 62 over a few hundred rounds played, posting one score that is a few points lower wouldn't affect it that much.

  I  just played a game  not one of my better ones I was -3 and my average went down 0.01 that's what I don't understand I played games where I was -4 even -5 and my average never moved and these are not lower your average country club tournaments I do not play them is there a difference in what course you are playing Saint Andrews -8 and a 20 mile an hour average wind go's down.02 -10 at Wolf Creek with low to medium wind ave go's down.02

  If it did then that will be correct.

  As an example lets say you had 400 rounds at legend and an average of 62.50, that's a total of 25,000 strokes included in your average.

  You then score (28) 56 and (30) 60.  Your average is now based on 402 rounds and 25,116 strokes and =  62.478.

  +1 Which is why it's called Legend Hell:When you shoot a 29, and the number on the screen doesn't change -- even though you know the average really has lowered, just not enough to move the needle.

  I'm just looking to get to championship 13 greens all the time I putt much better on them than I do 12
