hi...  thank you for your response and the thread...  I've never seen that thread before and you are correct that it is on page 1...   the driver was available in the Pro Shop for level 103 and above and I was at level 102 so the driver window was locked to me...  I wish I would have seen the thread but I don't know if it was for sale to level 3 and above still even in the Flash Sale...   I hope to find another club that goes 289yds...  Thanks again!

It won't change your game, especially considering you already have the top of everything else. There's no advantage to being the longest off the tee.

It is actually far easier to get into trouble using the TP 9.0 instead of the TP 8.0. Depending on the course I sometimes switch which driver I carry and don't notice any substantial difference in my tee shots.

I've had the TM 8 degree driver since it came out and have yet to find myself at a disadvantage against any other driver/ball combo. I like taking the first approach shot when I am outdriven because then I get to squeeze the other guy with the shot that really counts.  :-)

I made Legend a few weeks ago but I'm 'locked' out of buying either the 289 or 291 yard drivers .... why is this  ...???

Its because of your level, you are on 98 and those clubs are available at levels 99 and 103 respectively

Everybody has their own opinions, and advice, my advice to you is to use common sense.  Think like a real life pro golfers here, even though I know we arent, but their logic works even in this game.  Long off the tee, is almost always better, as long as you can control it.  Hitting big controlled shots with woods will give you shorter shots to the green, thus giving you more accuracy, and shorter putts, ultimately a lower score.  I'd rather be hitting a huge drive, and hitting a 7 or 8 iron into the green, rather than a 5 or 6 iron, shorter irons give you a shorter distance for errors. The longer the shot the more you magnify your error.  Fairways are wide, easy to hit even with a missed ding,  but that hole is real small to be using a long iron shooting into it.  just my opinion,  good luck.
